Senior Officer - Business Planning

About the role

The Senior Officer – Business Planning will support the CEO in implementing strategic business plans and provide high‑level executive assistance. This role combines strategic monitoring, cross‑functional coordination, and comprehensive administrative support to drive organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the progress of business plans, making recommendations for areas of focus.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful implementation of business plans within established timelines.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on business plan execution and progress.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and group teams.
• Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and conferences.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation.
• Prioritise incoming communications such as phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other executive documents.
• Maintain files, records, and confidential information with a high level of discretion.
• Conduct research and compile data for strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Coordinate events and special projects assigned by the CEO.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to other members of the executive team as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or a top‑tier business school graduate with exceptional academic and leadership credentials.
• Strong technology orientation and interest in digital banking technologies, systems, and processes.
• Proven ability to work effectively with large, cross‑functional teams.
• Creative, proactive mindset with a passion for contributing to digital transformation.
