Senior Project Manager (Contract) – Agile & Scrum

About the role

Nisum is seeking a Senior Project Manager on a six‑month contract to lead complex technology initiatives. The role blends project management and Scrum Master responsibilities, driving Agile delivery for digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor end‑to‑end technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Lead Agile Scrum teams, facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, Retrospectives and Release Planning.
• Act as Scrum Master and Agile Coach, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Translate business requirements and epics into user stories, PBIs and sprint deliverables.
• Maintain project artefacts such as project plans, release plans, RAID logs, dashboards and executive status reports.
• Manage governance, stakeholder communication, milestone tracking, escalation and change management.
• Track KPIs, sprint velocity, burn‑down charts, defects and release readiness to ensure predictable delivery.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure and Product teams for smooth releases.

Required profile

• 12+ years of Project Management experience in software development and technology.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, cross‑functional teams and global stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and decision‑making skills.
