Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Giant Group is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to establish and lead the QA function for its Screening Systems. You will work with AI‑assisted tools to design, automate, and analyse tests, ensuring robust, defect‑free releases.

Key responsibilities

• Review business requirements and create test scenarios and cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system and end‑to‑end testing.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Adopt emerging AI‑assisted QA tooling and techniques.
• Conduct API testing with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI or SoapUI and validate databases using SQL.
• Lead integration and regression testing across concurrent workstreams.
• Log, track and verify defects and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and prepare test reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a QA engineer, including test automation for web applications, APIs and SQL Server databases.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools for test case generation, automation scripting or defect analysis.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
