Senior Security Officer

About the role

The Senior Security Officer will lead the security function at Agro Hub International’s Karachi facilities. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures the safety of personnel, visitors, and company assets while maintaining compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve security policies, procedures and emergency response plans.
• Supervise and schedule security staff across all shifts, providing training and performance feedback.
• Monitor access‑control systems, CCTV networks and other security technologies, analysing data to detect and prevent incidents.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations, preparing detailed reports for management.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire services and emergency responders as required.
• Support business continuity and crisis‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security management, preferably within manufacturing, logistics or industrial environments.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising teams and handling conflict.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Pakistani workplace safety and security regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice or related field; military or law‑enforcement background is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
