Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Conrad Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the full product lifecycle, from concept through design, development, testing and launch. You will work with a distributed team of engineers and designers to build high‑quality, scalable applications that impact cloud infrastructure, healthcare and AI/ML education.

Key responsibilities

• Own product development end‑to‑end, collaborating with engineers and designers.
• Design, code, test and deliver high‑performance applications.
• Partner with onshore and offshore teams to influence technical and business decisions.
• Document solutions and architectural approaches.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with full‑cycle product delivery.
• Full‑stack web development expertise, including database design and SQL.
• Design and implementation of scalable systems and large databases.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Knowledge of system design, DevOps practices, source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Experience conducting code reviews and performance evaluations.
• Bonus: front‑end and back‑end test case development.
