Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in Karachi. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Develop and integrate APIs and third‑party services.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Perform code reviews and follow best practices.
• Test applications for quality, performance, and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one language: JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or PHP.
• Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and software testing.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Django.NET, or Spring Boot.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
