Senior Software Engineer - Python

About the role

Creative Chaos is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Python to develop and maintain server‑side applications and RESTful APIs. You will ensure high performance, security, and reliability while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, estimate tasks, and write production‑grade code with unit tests.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, tune code for security and performance, and maintain issue‑tracking systems.
• Lead a team of engineers, provide training, and evaluate candidates for open positions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3‑6 years of professional experience.
• Strong understanding of security standards, compliance, and version control practices.

Required skills

• Python with Flask framework.
• Microsoft technologies, Azure, AWS.
• Experience building backend components and RESTful APIs.
• Relational and schemaless databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Unit testing with at least 90% coverage.
• GitHub, JIRA and other collaboration tools.
