Senior Supply Chain Executive – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Senior Supply Chain Executive will lead warehouse operations for a pharmaceutical manufacturer, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory control while maintaining compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP). The role collaborates closely with procurement, sales, quality assurance, finance and logistics to guarantee uninterrupted product availability and high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and overall inventory control.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, FEFO/FIFO and company SOPs.
• Develop, update and improve Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conduct warehouse staff training and keep training records.
• Investigate customer complaints using Root Cause Analysis and implement CAPA.
• Monitor expiry, damaged and quarantined stock.
• Support internal, principal and regulatory audits.
• Prepare operational and management reports.
• Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate effectively with cross‑functional departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Logistics Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical distribution and GDP‑compliant warehouse operations.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, ownership, integrity and problem‑solving abilities.
