Senior Territory Manager

About the role

The Senior Territory Manager will drive sales of Abbott Rapid Diagnostic products across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, clinics, and institutional accounts throughout Pakistan. This position requires a strong field presence, relationship‑building expertise, and deep knowledge of both private and public healthcare procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Maintain comprehensive coverage of hospitals, private labs, collection centers, and clinics.
• Develop and execute territory action plans to expand product reach.
• Collaborate with local distributors to ensure stock availability and timely supply.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for doctors, pathologists, and lab technologists.
• Organise CME sessions, workshops, and product‑awareness activities.
• Identify and develop opportunities in government hospitals, semi‑government institutions, and NGOs.
• Support tender submissions, rate contracts, and build relationships with procurement departments.
• Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and decision‑makers.
• Provide after‑sales support, address customer complaints, and coordinate order processing with distributors.
• Track competitor activities and provide market insights on pricing, demand, and customer preferences.

Required profile

• Science graduate or Master’s degree; preferably Pharm D, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
• 2‑4 years of experience in institutional sales or distributor management within the healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of the local Pakistani healthcare market, including public and private procurement systems.
• Proven ability to manage territory and time effectively.
