Senior/Principal QA Automation Engineer - Afternoon Shift

About the role

10Pearls, a global digital engineering partner, is looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer / Principal QA Lead to drive quality engineering across Web, Mobile and API platforms. The role covers establishing automation strategies, leading QA across multiple projects, setting testing standards and ensuring high-quality, scalable and secure software delivery. It suits someone with strong expertise in automation frameworks, test architecture, API validation, mobile testing, CI/CD integration and leadership of distributed QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA on web, mobile and API applications
• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks and test strategies, and drive automation adoption and test coverage
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Owners and developers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Define QA best practices, standards and governance processes
• Perform API testing, contract validation, regression and integration testing
• Lead mobile testing on Android and iOS, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Analyze test results, set quality KPIs and reporting, and coordinate performance, security and other non-functional testing
• Mentor QA engineers and take part in release planning, risk assessments and production readiness reviews

Required profile

• 8+ years of QA experience, including at least 5+ years in automation testing
• Strong experience testing Web, Mobile and API applications
• Proven ability to lead QA teams and drive quality initiatives across multiple projects
• Preferred: experience leading enterprise-scale QA transformation, fintech, healthcare or e-commerce domains, and ISTQB certification

• Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium or similar frameworks
• Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or C#
• API testing with Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger or Karate
• CI/CD integration with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Jira, Azure DevOps or TestRail; SQL and database testing
• Agile/Scrum; preferred: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, OWASP, AWS/Azure/GCP, microservices testing
