Site Service Engineer – Thar Coal Field

About the role

The Site Service Engineer will be based at the Thar Coal Field, providing technical and after‑sales support for HDP spare parts used on mining and earth‑moving machinery. The role involves hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting and customer assistance on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site technical support for heavy equipment, focusing on engines, powertrain, hydraulics, undercarriage and cooling systems.
• Represent HDP in all after‑sales matters, including product performance, installation support and parts fitment.
• Investigate complaints, conduct root‑cause analysis of failed components and prepare technical reports for the Alpha/HDP team.
• Verify part numbers, dimensions, applications and compatibility during installation.
• Coordinate with customer workshops, maintenance teams and equipment operators during repairs and troubleshooting.
• Prepare service, complaint and inspection reports, including photographs and measurements, for warranty evaluation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Automotive or related engineering discipline.
• Practical experience in heavy‑equipment workshops, mining machinery maintenance or field service.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems independently and work directly with customer maintenance teams.
• Preference for candidates residing in Islamkot, Mithi or nearby areas for regular site presence.
