SOC Analyst L2 – Cybersecurity Operations

About the role

As a SOC Analyst L2 at Alykas you will protect multiple US‑based clients by monitoring, analyzing and responding to cyber threats within a multi‑tenant Security Operations Center.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, investigate indicators of compromise and document findings.
• Perform initial triage, assess incident severity and execute response actions following playbooks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, incidents and remediation activities.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and develop hypotheses based on threat intelligence.
• Automate repetitive tasks, tune detection rules and optimize security tool policies.
• Correlate alerts with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and enhance incident response playbooks.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, technologies and defensive strategies.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center.
• Proficiency with SOC tools including SIEM, EDR, XDR and Email Security solutions.
• Hands‑on incident response experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GSEC, GCIH).
• Strong client‑facing communication skills in English.
