SOC L1 Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

The SOC L1 Analyst will join our Security Operations Center to monitor security events, perform initial triage, and support incident response. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with a range of security tools in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls and other security solutions.
• Perform initial analysis and triage to assess severity and urgency of events.
• Escalate confirmed incidents to L2/L3 analysts for deeper investigation.
• Document incidents and actions in the incident management system.
• Analyze logs from security devices to identify potential threats.
• Leverage threat intelligence sources to stay updated on emerging risks.
• Generate regular reports on incidents, trends and SOC performance.
• Communicate incident status and findings to team members and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7/365 shift environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Effective communication of technical information to non‑technical audiences.
