SOC Manager – Lead Security Operations Center

About the role

CareCloud is looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead its Security Operations Center at the Bagh AJK office. You will be responsible for overseeing monitoring, detection, response and remediation of cyber threats while driving continuous improvement of SOC processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily SOC operations, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee security monitoring, threat detection and incident response activities.
• Plan, conduct and supervise penetration testing and ethical hacking exercises.
• Develop, implement and maintain SOC processes, workflows and documentation.
• Coordinate with IT, network and application teams to ensure security compliance and timely incident resolution.
• Track and report security metrics, incidents and SOC performance to leadership.
• Manage escalation procedures and ensure rapid response to critical events.
• Stay current with emerging threats, tools and best practices.
• Provide training, mentoring and knowledge sharing within the SOC team.
• Participate in risk assessments, audits and compliance activities as needed.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 3–5 years in SOC leadership or management.
• Hands‑on experience with penetration testing, ethical hacking, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP or GIAC are preferred.
