Social Media Officer

About the role

The Social Media Officer will join DE Media Solutions in Lahore to develop and execute engaging social media content that supports brand objectives and campaign goals. Working on‑site, you will collaborate with marketing and creative teams to strengthen the company’s digital presence across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish social media posts in line with brand guidelines.
• Maintain daily posting schedules and monitor audience interaction.
• Respond to comments, messages and foster online community engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to design social media campaigns.
• Optimize content for reach, engagement and performance using platform best practices.
• Track and analyse key metrics, preparing regular performance reports.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends, algorithm changes and emerging tools.

Required profile

• Strong content creation and writing abilities with a focus on clear, brand‑consistent messaging.
• Experience in social media marketing and optimization (SMO) and campaign planning.
• Effective communication skills for community engagement and internal collaboration.
• Familiarity with major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, paid social campaigns and analytics.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lahore, manage multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced creative environment.
• Prior experience in a social media, digital marketing or content role is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Media, Communications or related field is an advantage.
