Software Engineer – Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

Global Rescue is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join its enterprise development team. You will work on scalable, high‑performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, supporting the company’s mission of delivering critical medical, security, and crisis response services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, MySQL and Angular.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and business analysts to deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to improve system quality.
• Create technical documentation such as sequence diagrams, class diagrams, ERDs and design specs.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Provide Level III production support, troubleshoot complex issues and implement fixes.
• Analyze data, resolve inconsistencies and maintain data integrity.
• Use modern tooling (Git/GitLab, Maven, CI/CD pipelines) and AI‑assisted development tools to boost productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, SQL and Angular.
• Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs and work with authentication protocols such as OIDC and SAML.
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving skills.
