Software Engineer - Python

About the role

Devsinc is looking for a motivated Software Engineer specialized in Python to join its dynamic development team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power our business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high‑quality Python code for web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and micro‑service architectures.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot issues and debug complex software problems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Contribute to documentation of software features and development processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Python development, preferably in backend or full‑stack roles.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Good understanding of software design principles and best coding practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
