Solar Technician

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Solar Technician to join our team in Lahore. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining solar power systems for residential, commercial and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site inspections and prepare installation sites.
• Install solar panels, inverters, mounting structures and associated electrical components.
• Carry out wiring, connections and system testing to ensure performance standards.
• Troubleshoot faults, conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Document work performed and report to supervisors, engineers and customers.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in electrical, electronics, renewable energy or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work at heights, on rooftops and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of solar system components, configurations and installation practices.
• Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of solar and electrical systems.
• Understanding of power generation principles and safe work practices.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and use standard electrical and hand tools safely.
