Solid Waste Management Expert

About the role

The Solid Waste Management Expert will lead the execution of waste‑related civil works, ensuring that all construction activities comply with contract specifications, IFC drawings and relevant standards. Reporting to the Engineer or Employer’s Representative, the role combines project management, construction supervision and contract administration under FIDIC Red Book 2017 and Gold Book 2008 frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project phases from planning through close‑out, including monitoring, control and reporting.
• Supervise construction activities, verify compliance with specifications and drawings, and resolve on‑site issues.
• Administer contracts, process variations, and ensure proper documentation in line with FIDIC conditions.
• Act as the Engineer’s Assistant, undertaking delegated duties and liabilities as defined in the contract.
• Coordinate with consultant teams across multiple cities to guarantee consistent design interpretation and execution.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in construction supervision and civil works project delivery.
• Familiarity with FIDIC Red Book 2017 and Gold Book 2008 contract procedures.
