Solution Architect - Retail Banking Technology

About the role

10Pearls is looking for a Solution Architect specialized in Retail Banking Technology to lead the design and governance of secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that support digital transformation initiatives across retail banking platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review solution architectures that meet evolving business and technology needs.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create architectural blueprints, high‑level designs (HLDs) and low‑level designs (LLDs) for enterprise applications and platforms.
• Partner with engineering teams to develop scalable, resilient, and maintainable technology solutions.
• Drive API‑first and microservices‑based architecture adoption across digital and enterprise platforms.
• Promote solution reusability, modularity and extensibility to accelerate product delivery and reduce technical debt.
• Lead modernization initiatives and recommend technology enhancements to improve business capabilities.
• Embed security‑by‑design principles within application architectures and customer‑facing solutions.
• Define and validate non‑functional requirements such as scalability, performance, availability, resiliency and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering, operations and infrastructure teams in Agile delivery environments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, architecture trends and innovation opportunities to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise‑scale solutions, preferably in the retail banking or financial services domain.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with business, product, engineering, infrastructure and enterprise architecture teams.
• Experience delivering solutions in Agile environments and guiding technical teams through implementation phases.
