SQA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive SQA Engineer to ensure the quality of our web‑based CRM/ERP solutions. You will work closely with clients and development teams to validate end‑to‑end business processes and deliver reliable software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of client workflows, module functionalities, and system interconnections.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for complete end‑to‑end scenarios such as lead‑to‑deal, hiring approvals, and payroll.
• Log detailed bugs in Jira, retest fixes, and verify that changes do not introduce new issues.
• Validate role‑based access controls and ensure data accuracy with basic SQL queries.
• Support clients during User Acceptance Testing, gather feedback, and translate it into actionable tickets.
• Maintain and update test documentation, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of QA experience testing web applications, preferably a custom CRM or ERP.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
• Proactive attitude toward clarifying ambiguous requirements.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Jira for defect tracking.
• Hands‑on experience using Postman for API testing.
• Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (optional but preferred).
