Stability Analyst

About the role

The Stability Analyst will support stability testing and related laboratory activities to ensure product quality and safety. Working closely with laboratory colleagues, equipment technicians, and quality teams, you will contribute to GSK’s mission of uniting science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease.

Key responsibilities

• Execute timely stability testing for Penicillin and Non‑Penicillin products according to the approved monthly schedule.
• Perform analytical tests, document results, and follow GSK‑approved procedures.
• Participate in investigations of out‑of‑specification (OOS) and atypical results, and follow QMS requirements.
• Manage control print issuance and reconciliation through the VQD system to maintain traceability.
• Maintain analytical result logs, instrument calibration records, and monthly temperature/humidity monitoring.
• Review stability data trends, raw data, and generate LIMS reports.
• Monitor chamber performance, report anomalies, and ensure timely closure of actions in VQMS.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.

Required profile

• M.Sc. Chemistry, Pharm‑D, or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of experience in stability testing or analytical laboratories.
• Familiarity with GMP, data integrity principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with equipment validation, calibration, and stability chamber monitoring.
• Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HPLC, GC, and UV/Vis instrumentation.
• Proficiency in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking and reporting.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Knowledge of equipment validation, calibration, and stability chamber monitoring.
• Understanding of investigations, root‑cause analysis, and CAPA processes.
