Static Equipment Design Engineer – Mechanical Design

About the role

Isotherm Engineering is seeking a Static Equipment Design Engineer to create and develop vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and related structural components. The role involves translating project requirements into detailed engineering designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design models using CAD tools.
• Perform mechanical and structural calculations, including stress analysis and material selection.
• Apply ASME Section VIII Division 1 and TEMA codes to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, review technical documents, and support fabrication activities.
• Participate in design reviews, address technical queries, and drive continuous improvement in design practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing static mechanical equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (advanced degree is a plus).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
