Strategic Pricing Lead – Karachi

About the role

Kerry, a global leader in taste and nutrition, is seeking a Strategic Pricing Lead for its Karachi office. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will drive the implementation of regional pricing and margin management strategies to maximise returns across the sub‑region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and control pricing processes, decision points, escalation criteria and execution standards.
• Collaborate with commercial sales teams to align pricing with competitive and market conditions.
• Gather external insights on competitors, market trends, commodity changes and technology for pricing decisions.
• Ensure pricing models comply with Pakistan accounting standards and statutory reporting rules.
• Apply deep knowledge of Pakistan’s tax framework (income, sales, withholding, provincial taxes) to evaluate margin impacts.
• Partner with sales to review key account performance and influence new‑business decisions.
• Identify new product opportunities and act as escalation point for margin‑threshold breaches.
• Support design of pricing strategies for new product launches and strategic initiatives.
• Execute the annual pricing process and mentor the APMEA Pricing Centre of Excellence.
• Manage rebate agreements, accruals and journal entries.
• Deliver weekly flash reports on market performance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s accounting standards and statutory reporting.
• Deep understanding of Pakistan’s taxation framework (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, provincial taxes).
• Proven experience in pricing, margin management and financial analysis.
• Ability to work closely with commercial sales teams and influence business decisions.
