Student Counsellor – Education Recruitment

About the role

SxopeHit Recruitment Services is looking for a motivated Student Counsellor to guide prospective students through the study‑abroad admission journey. You will provide accurate information on universities, programmes, scholarships and visa procedures, helping candidates make informed educational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students on study opportunities across various countries and institutions.
• Assess academic backgrounds, career goals and preferences to recommend suitable programmes.
• Provide detailed information on admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships and application processes.
• Follow up on inquiries from social media, website, events and referrals, converting leads into applications.
• Assist students in preparing and submitting admission applications and ensure document completeness.
• Guide students through visa requirements, form completion and document collection.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and generate regular reports on leads, applications and enrollments.
• Participate in education fairs, webinars and recruitment campaigns.

Required profile

• Intermediate degree or higher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong counselling and sales abilities with a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to build trust with students and parents.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions or education consultancy is preferred.
