System Administrator (On-Premises Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to manage and optimise our on‑premises IT environment. The role focuses on physical and virtualised infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security and performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi: provision VMs, allocate resources, tune performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Configure and support Sangfor firewall, VPN and security appliances, enforce network security policies and maintain disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Maintain on‑premises Microsoft Exchange servers, manage mail flow, mailbox databases and resolve email delivery problems.
• Manage Active Directory: create users, groups, OUs, enforce Group Policies and maintain domain controllers.
• Monitor overall system performance, apply patches, perform security hardening and conduct regular backup and recovery testing.
• Document procedures, configurations and troubleshooting steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with on‑premises infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
