System Engineer (Enterprise Data Center)

About the role

We are seeking a System Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to support and maintain our enterprise data‑center infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of storage, backup, virtualization, networking, and server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain critical IT infrastructure components across the data‑center.
• Manage backup and recovery operations using Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Support and administer VMware virtualization platforms (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Administer SAN/NAS storage solutions (Huawei OceanStor, NetApp FAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, CIFS/SMB).
• Coordinate with technology vendors for issue resolution and upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with enterprise IT systems infrastructure.
• Proven experience in data‑center operations, storage management, backup/recovery, and virtualization.

• Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu Server)
• Windows Server administration (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022)
• OS hardening, patch management, high‑availability and disaster‑recovery design
• SAN/NAS integration (FC, NFS, CIFS/SMB), RAID configuration, iSCSI, Fibre Channel
• Huawei OceanStor and NetApp FAS storage management
• Veeam Backup & Replication (v11/v12) – backup jobs, copy jobs, SureBackup
• VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter – virtual machine lifecycle management
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy administration
• Oracle and Microsoft SQL database support, backup verification, health monitoring
• PowerShell scripting for automation, health checks, log collection and reporting
• Data‑center monitoring (power, cooling, UPS, environmental alarms)
