System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a System Engineer to act as SUPCON’s on‑site engineer in Pakistan, driving the successful delivery of automation projects across oil & gas, chemical, power and other process industries. You will be the main point of contact on the ground, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate on‑site project execution, tracking milestones, equipment delivery and installation progress.
• Work closely with customers, EPC contractors and installation teams to resolve technical and scheduling issues.
• Serve as the daily communication hub, handling technical inquiries and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in field service, project coordination or site management within process automation or industrial engineering.
• Hands‑on experience in Pakistan’s process industries such as refineries, fertilizer plants, cement or power plants.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong cross‑cultural communication, proactive problem‑solving and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay at remote sites for extended periods; valid local driver’s licence preferred.
