Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

VASL is looking for a proactive, results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles and industries. The role is full-time and onsite, based in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, with working hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (PKT). The ideal candidate has strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities, can independently manage recruitment pipelines, build hiring strategies and meet recruitment deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to selection and onboarding coordination.
• Develop and run sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, referrals and direct headhunting.
• Conduct initial interviews, assess candidate suitability and shortlist qualified applicants.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines, including backup candidates for critical positions.
• Manage several vacancies at once while meeting hiring timelines and recruitment targets.
• Work with hiring managers to understand position requirements and priorities.
• Solve recruitment challenges by applying alternative sourcing strategies.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and report on time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates and hiring progress.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through consistent communication and timely follow-ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Proven end-to-end recruitment, proactive sourcing and headhunting experience.
• Strong English communication, interviewing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage several hiring requirements independently and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: experience recruiting for international clients, especially US-based businesses.
