Tax Consultant

About the role

Tax Nerd Pakistan is seeking a full‑time Tax Consultant to join its Lahore office. You will work directly with entrepreneurs, startups and growing companies, providing expert tax advice that helps them stay compliant while optimizing their tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate and individual tax returns.
• Manage all tax compliance filings and ensure timely submission.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
• Assist clients during tax audits, investigations and regulatory inquiries.
• Research and monitor changes in Pakistani tax legislation and international tax rules.
• Produce clear documentation, reports and client communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to resolve complex tax issues.

Required profile

• Strong background in tax planning, preparation and compliance.
• Experience handling tax audits and regulatory reviews.
• In‑depth knowledge of Pakistani tax law and exposure to international taxation.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a client‑facing orientation.
• Relevant qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or a degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or related field.
