Tea Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The Tea Supply Chain Associate will support the blending and warehouse operations of our tea production facility in Karachi. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve processes, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements in blending and warehouse processes.
• Plan, monitor, and update annual Capex/Opex budgets using SAP.
• Confirm material costs, create purchase requisitions, and follow up until delivery.
• Coordinate with technical, CPD, and other teams to achieve cross‑functional goals.
• Ensure plant and equipment maintenance aligns with technical standards.
• Explore automation opportunities for manual processes.
• Prepare and maintain HACCP, Food Safety, BRCGS, and plant maintenance documentation.
• Train blend and warehouse staff on best practices.
• Prepare for internal and external audits and support QA in implementing HACCP, FSSC22000, and BRCGS SOPs.
• Monitor SAP TSC EWMS & MM modules and the SFG Tea Inventory System.
• Assist the Blend Operations Manager in analytical assessments to improve blending and raw tea warehouse processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or food‑safety environments.
• Problem‑solving ability and strong data‑analysis skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse and material storage management.
• Good communication and training skills.
