Tech Lead – Sanity CMS (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive large‑scale Sanity CMS migration projects for a U.S. client. You will join the client’s existing design and engineering team, working remotely while shaping architecture and delivery of content‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Sanity CMS migrations, including content modeling, data mapping, transformation and migration tooling.
• Define and enforce architecture decisions for backend services and API‑driven platforms.
• Collaborate daily with designers, product owners and engineers to ensure seamless integration.
• Identify technical risks, design migration strategies and guarantee data integrity.
• Mentor and guide engineering team members through complex technical initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or tech‑lead roles.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Sanity CMS (schemas, GROQ, APIs, migration tooling).
• Strong background in RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and/or Next.js.
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures and document‑based databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows.
