Tech-Savvy Fleet Operations Assistant (DAE Mechanical)

About the role

Shama Goods Transport Services, a Karachi‑based logistics and fleet management firm, is looking for a tech‑savvy Fleet Operations Assistant with a DAE Mechanical background. The role supports daily fleet coordination, vehicle readiness, and technology‑enabled monitoring for a mixed fleet of Isuzu, Mazda, and Hino trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor GPS, telematics, and mobile DVR systems; flag unusual events or route deviations.
• Assist with vehicle dispatch, trip documentation, driver coordination, and delivery status updates.
• Maintain records of inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, fuel usage, and vehicle availability.
• Support mechanical checks and coordinate workshop follow‑ups for fleet vehicles.
• Track temperature‑controlled shipment requirements and report operational exceptions promptly.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and basic diesel mechanics.
• Experience with preventive maintenance practices and workshop coordination.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast‑paced transport environment.
