Technical Architect – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join a global leader in the Technology, Information and Internet sector on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions that align with strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to implement and optimise solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to inform architectural roadmaps.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software architecture, focusing on scalable systems.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Strong background in designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Experience with data engineering, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and clear communication of technical concepts.
