Technical Designer (Apparel)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Designer to create and maintain detailed tech packs for apparel collections. The role works closely with design, product development and production teams to ensure technical accuracy and smooth communication with overseas vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update comprehensive tech packs, including construction details, measurements, and design intent.
• Evaluate garment fit, record comments, and update measurements as needed.
• Collaborate with design, product development, and production teams to align technical requirements.
• Communicate construction and quality standards clearly with overseas factories and vendors.
• Maintain organized records of fitting approvals, open issues, and documentation.
• Support system and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in apparel technical design, fashion design or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in apparel technical design or garment technology.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eager to learn new systems, tools and processes.
• Collaborative team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW.
• Experience with 2D and 3D pattern‑making software.
• Basic understanding of garment construction and pattern‑making principles.
