Technical Furniture Designer

About the role

Profine is looking for a precise, production‑focused Technical Furniture Designer to join its manufacturing unit. You will translate customized furniture concepts into detailed AutoCAD drawings, create assembly documentation, and program CNC routers for cutting and drilling MDF laminate panels.

Key responsibilities

• Generate 2D and 3D manufacturing and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and optimise G‑code/CNC files for nested routing, cutting and drilling of MDF laminate sheets.
• Produce clear technical documentation for the factory floor, including exploded views, hardware lists and assembly guides.
• Work directly with machine operators and the production team to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing runs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or architectural millwork.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and CAM/CNC software (e.g., Aspire).
• Deep understanding of wooden furniture, cabinet joinery, hardware integration and MDF laminate machining.
• Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for dimensional errors.
