Technical Project Manager

About the role

Carpe Diem, a leading IT & Software Development firm, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead software development projects from conception to delivery. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing scope, schedule and budget, and ensuring successful outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and monitor progress.
• Coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors for flawless execution.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs using verification techniques.
• Measure project performance with appropriate tools and report to management.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships and perform risk management.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in software development or project management within IT.
• Proven experience managing IT projects and strong technical background.
• Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of software development and web technologies.
