Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of technology initiatives within the banking domain, ensuring projects are on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, QA, infrastructure, and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver technical projects from initiation to post‑production stabilization.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (business, development, QA, infrastructure, vendors) to ensure seamless execution.
• Translate business requirements into actionable project plans and align them with technical solutions.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder workshops.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, SDLC processes, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support solution planning, system integration, testing, UAT, deployment, and post‑production activities.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues promptly, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, core banking applications, payment systems, or enterprise banking solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end SDLC using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile.
