Technical Project Manager - Software Development

About the role

An experienced and organized Project Manager is sought with 3 to 5 years of experience managing software development projects. The role covers project planning, team coordination, stakeholder communication and delivery management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor projects from initiation to delivery, defining scope, milestones, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with developers, designers, QA engineers and other stakeholders.
• Create and maintain project plans, sprint schedules, backlogs and task assignments.
• Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, demos, retrospectives) and sprint reports.
• Track progress, identify risks, resolve blockers and manage scope changes and task prioritization.
• Ensure deliverables meet requirements, quality standards and deadlines, and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and keep project management tools up to date.
• Work with the QA team to define test scenarios, edge cases and risks, and lead cross-functional teams while monitoring performance.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in software development; previous experience as a Team Lead or leading a software team is required.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Asana or Trello.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple priorities.
• Ability to prepare project reports, sprint summaries and progress updates, and to work independently.
• Preferred: experience with web and mobile app projects, distributed or remote teams, and certifications such as PMP, CAPM or Scrum Master.
