Technical Support Engineer (Java) – L3 Production Support

About the role
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer (Java) with a strong Site Reliability Engineering mindset to provide L3 production support for our large‑scale, distributed health‑tech platform. The role works in a rotational afternoon/evening shift, handling incident management, root‑cause analysis and automation to ensure system reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Provide L3 production support and resolve P1/P2 incidents within SLA.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, incident bridges and blameless post‑incident reviews.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Debug, enhance and hot‑fix Java‑based microservices.
- Improve system reliability, availability, performance and scalability.
- Automate repetitive tasks and develop tooling.
- Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards and runbooks.
- Analyze logs, metrics and distributed traces using observability tools.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in Java development, production support, SRE or DevOps.
- Willingness to work in a rotational afternoon/evening shift and on‑call schedule.
- Ability to handle high‑pressure production incidents.
