Territory Sales Manager - Trade in Field Force

About the role

METRO Pakistan, part of METRO Group's sales division METRO Cash & Carry, is hiring a Territory Sales Manager for its trade business. The role focuses on developing and executing sales plans for assigned customer segments and driving incremental sales in Dry Food departments such as Detergents & Toiletries and Sweets & Confectionery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned customer segments.
• Increase the number of articles in customers' baskets in Dry Food departments with attractive margins.
• Analyze customer sales and buying trends before visits, identify gaps and compare objectives with actual outcomes after each visit.
• Define objectives and action plans for each customer and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams such as Procurement and Operations.
• Maintain detailed customer notes and tracking sheets, prepare feasibility studies for business solutions and plan weekly activities by customer portfolio priorities.
• Monitor customer portfolio KPIs including turnover, margin and purchase frequency, and follow up on customer commitments made during visits or by phone.
• Participate in team meetings and sales training, attend specialized training to develop relevant skills, and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.

Required profile

• Graduation with 3 years of relevant experience.
