Travel Operations Advisor

About the role

Touchstone Communications is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Travel Advisor. The ideal candidate has previous experience in travel consultancy or travel agency operations, excellent communication skills and a strong passion for creating seamless, personalized travel experiences. The role covers understanding clients' travel needs, building customized itineraries, managing bookings and providing end-to-end travel assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, budgets and expectations.
• Develop and recommend customized travel itineraries.
• Manage end-to-end bookings, including flights, hotels, car rentals, tours and travel insurance.
• Advise accurately on visa requirements, travel documentation and destination regulations.
• Handle booking modifications, cancellations, refunds and special requests.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and resolve queries promptly.
• Keep up with travel trends, airline policies, destination updates and industry regulations.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all bookings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Travel Agent, Travel Consultant or similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of travel booking processes, destinations and travel documentation.
• Ability to multitask and manage several bookings and client requests at once.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
