UNSDCF Coordination Officer – Coordination & Youth Engagement

About the role

The United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) is seeking a Coordination Officer to support the implementation of outcome groups in Pakistan. The role will serve as the focal point for five outcome groups, ensuring effective meetings, documentation, and inter‑agency collaboration, with a special focus on youth engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central secretariat for five UNSDCF outcome groups, managing meeting agendas, minutes, and member lists.
• Prepare consolidated progress reports, technical briefs, and contribute to the UN Country Team Annual Results Report 2024.
• Facilitate coordination between outcome groups, Programme Management Teams, and provincial programme teams to align activities with national priorities.
• Lead the establishment and implementation of a Youth Working Group, developing a workplan through 2026 and organizing quarterly youth meetings.
• Introduce and apply digital tools to improve coordination efficiency and impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordination, secretariat support, or programme management within an international or UN context.
• Strong written communication skills for preparing reports, briefs, and meeting documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including government, UN agencies, and youth organizations.
• Familiarity with digital collaboration platforms and willingness to adopt innovative tools.
