US Tax Compliance Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented US Tax Compliance Specialist to join our remote team. The specialist will prepare and review federal and multi‑state income and sales tax returns for a portfolio of e‑commerce businesses, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review US federal income tax returns for Allintalent and its e‑commerce entities.
• Manage multi‑state income, franchise, and sales tax filings, including nexus tracking and monitoring economic nexus thresholds.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify compliance risks and potential tax savings.
• Collaborate with the finance team to integrate tax considerations into financial planning and reporting.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date compliance calendar to meet all filing deadlines.
• Stay current on changes to US federal and state tax regulations.
• Support tax audit processes by preparing documentation and liaising with tax authorities.
• Develop and maintain documentation on tax positions, policies, and procedures.
