Utilities Artisan – Maintenance & Operations

About the role

The Utilities Artisan is responsible for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of key utilities equipment in an industrial environment. This includes chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, gas generators, LPG & nitrogen handling facilities, and boilers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all utilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, gas generators, LPG and nitrogen systems, and boilers.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for utility equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and product safety to meet AIBI, IPS, FSSC 22000 and CRP standards.
• Ensure compliance with HSE rules and PepsiCo safety policies.
• Execute additional tasks or projects assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Technology or a 2nd Class Boiler Operator certification.
• 2‑4 years of experience in utilities maintenance, especially refrigeration, air compressors, water treatment and heat exchangers.
• Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices.
• Computer literate with ability to create and maintain SOP documentation.
• Flexibility and endurance to work in a challenging plant environment.
