Virtual Legal Writer (Plaintiff‑Side Employment Litigation)

About the role

Remote Scouts is looking for an experienced Virtual Legal Writer to support plaintiff‑side employment law firms in pre‑litigation drafting. The position is fully remote, operates on U.S. Eastern Time, and focuses on creating persuasive, fact‑driven legal narratives under attorney supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Draft aggressive demand letters, case summaries, liability analyses, and damages narratives.
• Prepare select complaints and other pre‑litigation documents.
• Review, organize, and analyze complex client records, photographs, medical documentation, and other evidence.
• Identify legally significant facts and weave them into compelling plaintiff‑focused narratives.
• Incorporate statutes, case law, and legal research into all written products.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to firm‑specific formatting and citation standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plaintiff‑side legal writing or litigation support.
• Strong command of legal terminology, litigation concepts, and persuasive writing.
• Ability to transform disorganized facts into clear, persuasive narratives.
• Excellent editing, proofreading, and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Claude AI for drafting and document organization.
• Advanced prompt engineering and AI‑output verification.
• Legal research using standard platforms and accurate citation handling.
