Warehouse Lead

About the role

The Warehouse Lead will manage daily warehouse operations at Hilal Foods' Karachi facility, ensuring safe and efficient handling of confectionery products. This full‑time, on‑site position coordinates shipping and receiving, supervises packing and unloading, and maintains accurate inventory records to support the company’s supply chain goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and coordination with logistics partners.
• Supervise unloading, packing, and organization of goods within the warehouse.
• Maintain inventory control, stock rotation, and accurate record‑keeping.
• Manage storage layout, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper use of material‑handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Lead and guide warehouse team members, enforcing safety, hygiene, and food‑quality standards.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain and production teams to meet distribution targets.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement initiatives for warehouse processes.

Required profile

• Experience in shipping & receiving operations and documentation.
• Hands‑on expertise in packing, unloading, and warehouse organization.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and stock rotation.
• Ability to safely operate and oversee pallet jacks and other material‑handling equipment.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (BRCGS knowledge is a plus).
