Warehouse Officer

About the role

The Warehouse Officer will manage the receipt, storage, inventory control and documentation of raw and packaging materials in a pharmaceutical warehouse. The role ensures compliance with GMP, GDP and safety standards while maintaining accurate records and a clean storage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive raw and packaging materials, verify quantities, affix checklists, quarantine and hazardous labels according to SOPs.
• Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and Material Receipt Reports (MRRs) on the day of receipt and post them in the ERP system.
• Coordinate material loans, returns and inter‑plant transfers, and follow up with purchasing, imports and planning for required documentation.
• Maintain proper storage locations, temperature logs, cleaning records and housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages or excesses, and support cycle counts.
• Ensure weighing scales and balances are calibrated daily and keep records up to date.
• Prepare internal material transfer requests (IMTR) and material transfer notes (MTN).

Required profile

• Pharm.D. qualification.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industrial warehouse.
• Knowledge of material receiving and storage under CGMP and documentation under GDP.
• Ability to work closely with purchase, imports and planning teams.
