Web Developer

About the role

ITFIX is looking for a results‑driven Web Developer to enhance both customer‑facing and internal web applications that support network reliability and operational workflows. You will collaborate with operations, field‑service and support teams to deliver secure, performant and maintainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain modern web applications and internal dashboards using front‑end and back‑end technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, network operations and support engineers to translate requirements into user‑friendly interfaces and APIs.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility; implement responsive design.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and automated build/test workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs and metrics, and implement fixes or mitigations.
• Ensure security best practices are followed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of practical web development experience.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Front‑end framework such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Back‑end development with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask) or PHP.
• RESTful API design.
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL.
• Version control with Git, including branching workflows and code review practices.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and containerisation with Docker.
• Web security principles (OWASP) and authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Monitoring and debugging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Sentry.
• Responsive design, performance optimisation and accessibility standards.
