About the role
Digital Marketing Solutions is looking for a detail‑oriented Web GIS Developer / GIS Specialist to support GIS‑based monitoring, spatial data management and web mapping projects. The role involves creating, maintaining and visualising spatial datasets for operational and governance initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Geo‑reference maps, satellite imagery and spatial documents.
- Digitise spatial features and boundaries with high accuracy.
- Manage GIS layers, shapefiles and attribute data.
- Prepare professional GIS maps, layouts and thematic visualisations.
- Maintain topology, coordinate systems and spatial accuracy standards.
- Support Web GIS applications and GIS dashboards.
- Update and validate spatial datasets for monitoring systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, Remote Sensing or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant GIS experience.
- Strong command of GIS software and spatial data handling.
